Non sarà facile comunque riconoscere il Messia nella prospettiva della debolezza, lo stesso Giovanni ha qualche dubbio quando è in prigione e gli manda a dire per mezzo dei suoi discepoli “sei tu colui che deve venire o dobbiamo attenderne un altro?”
